Chicago Day 4

Our last day in Chicago! Tyler and I headed off to Navy Pier where he got SOAKING wet playing in the water at the Children's Museum. Like a good mom, all of his extra clothes were packed up at the hotel...so he went around the rest of the time in a sweatshirt and diaper only. Hey-I thought it was cute. Speaking of cute and biased mothers, I uploaded a ton of pictures because I couldn't narrow the selection more...and they are out of order. : )

Like those dirty hand prints on the glass? Reminds him of home....

Chicago Day 3

Day 2 in Chicago brought beautiful weather. We went shopping in the afternoon and Tyler got some new clothes and an awesome winter hat from H & M. I spent the rest of the afternoon browsing through the shops on Rush and State Streets, my favorite being Anthopolgie. It was very hard leaving that store without buying anything! I really love Rush Street. It's quaint and cute and it seems like you are a million miles away from the Magnificent Mile. I prefer shopping this area than being on Michigan Ave.

Tyler's new sweater from H & M

A few of my favorite things from Anthropologie right now...(as in if I had $, they would be mine)

Chicago Day 2

Day 2 in Chicago wasn't much fun. It poured all day and there was an hour long wait (outside) for a taxi because of some conference at the hotel.

18 month old + one room + all day long = not fun

I ended up working from the hotel on Monday since we couldn't go anywhere using their wifi that was as slow as dial up. Another fun part of my day.
On a brighter note, I wasn't at home with chores to do or at work!

We played hide-and-go seek with the chair in our room for entertainmnet...

Tyler had fun with Oreos while I worked.

Kids with stuff on their faces used to really gross me out.

Now it means I'm accomplishing something...
